Chef Heinz has called the Okanagan Valley home since 1990. He was born, raised and trained in Switzerland. Prior to moving to the Okanagan he was employed in St. Moritz and Zurich as well as The Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal, The Four Seasons in Calgary and The Savoury in North Vancouver. In Penticton, Heinz was employed at the Lakeside Hotel before following his dream of starting a catering company in 1996.

From our sunny orchard, south of Penticton, we harvest: peaches, apricots, berries, plums, walnuts and cherries. The bountiful crops inspire us to create wonderful fresh salsas, chutneys, sauces, preserves and desserts. The garden yields tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and fresh herbs. We also have a flock of free run chickens who love to keep the orchard pest free.

We take pride in our Italian heritage, hand making our sausages. BC Wild Salmon is smoked with apricot wood resulting in the perfect lox.

Our focus is local ingredients. The kitchen is lakeside, surrounded by fruit stands, farmers and vineyards all of which support our mission of using local, in season, produce. Organic produce is delivered weekly. Local cheeses and breads are a staple in our kitchen.

Heinz is passionate about connecting with people. He has run a successful/entertaining cooking school for 10 years and was a member of the Penticton Farmers Market for 4 years. We have also hosted Iron Chef Competitions, to the delight of everyone attending.
